Our customer had lost confidence in the contractor who installed the cabinets, and asked us to finish the job by installing facia and crown molding at the cabinet tops. The moldings were spray painted at the factory, and the contractor had ordered just enough material to do the job. So there could be no mistakes, no do-overs, and no filling gaps with caulking.

  • We fabricated corners to be installed on the cabinet tops to provide support for the trim.
  • Here are two corners installed.
  • Plywood backers were installed flush with the cabinet faces to support the facia boards.
  • The facia boards were next. All corners were mitered on site.
  • The backers for the crown molding were cut and installed using pocket screws.
  • Finally, the crown molding installed.
